Mediarch provides a secure
network for connecting health professionals
worldwide. This network meets the high standards
for the exchange of medical data. Our network
does not use the internet, thus we can assure
guaranteed transfer rates and the computers
connected to our net are not vulnerable to
the typical dangers and annoyances which are
part of the public internet.
We
develop various applications according
to our customers demands. These applications
include so far: |
Tele ECG – An ECG is transmitted from
the ambulance over a cellular radio network
(GPRS) directly into our net where a cardiologist
in a hospital can access that data to evaluate
the ECG.
Referral Management – electronic forms
were developed to ease the exchange of data
arising in conjunction with referrals. These
forms are then exchanged over our net.
Integrated Care – Patient data (e.g.
examination results, laboratory data) is stored
in a virtual patient record, which is directly
available to the physicians who treat the
concerning patient.
Tele Radiology – Radiological data (e.g.
radiographs, MRI-Data) is transmitted over
our net to get a second opinion and to minimize
the number of radiological examinations.
Hospital Connections – Hospitals usually
don’t allow to access their data from
the outside, since this normally needs a connection
over the internet (VPN). As our net is not
connected to the internet it is possible to
tie external physicians or other partners
to the hospital’s network.
Homecare – Medical data is collected
from various sources at the patient’s
home and then transmitted over phone or GPRS
to our server which manages that data. Then
it can be accessed by the authorized persons.
